Appeal after theft of trail bike

Police Scotland is appealing for information after a trials bike was stolen from a vehicle in Angus.

The green and black Ossa TR250 bike, worth around £6000, was taken from a white pick-up which was reported stolen from Wellbank between 4am and 5am on Thursday, November 3. It was recovered at around 6.15am the same day, on the B9127.

Police Constable Nadine Anderson, of Carnoustie Police Station, said : “We are keen to trace a silver-coloured vehicle which was seen on the Kellas Road near to Wellbank at around 4.20am and then again at 4.50am. The vehicle turned left on to the Kellas Road and headed towards Forfar. I would appeal to motorists with dash-cams who were in the area between 4am and 5am to get in touch.”
