Appeal after Easter break-in at Newbigging garage

Police are investigating a break-in at a garage in Newbigging over the Easter weekend.

The incident occurred at Pitairlie Garage at around 4.15am on Sunday.

Officers are now trying to trace two men seen on CCTV entering the premises.

They are both described as being under the age of 25.

At the time, one was wearing a black puffer style jacket and black trousers, while the second is described as wearing a dark jacket with a hood and dark trousers.

A short time after the break-in both males were seen fleeing the property in the direction of Sanderson Place.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen the duo to come forward.

A spokesperson said: “In addition anyone with private CCTV including ring doorbell camera’s that could help with our investigation should contact 101, quoting crime reference CR/0043445/23.”
