Brechin's Opus club in global celebration of local theatre

The brand new musical revue will feature songs from some of the best-loved shows such as Annie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Come From Away, Company, Disney's Frozen, Godspell, Guys and Dolls, Hairspray, Into the Woods, Jekyll and Hyde, Sister Act, Waitress and many more.

Opus Theatre Club will be joining thousands of theatrical organisations around the world by producing their own local production of Music Theatre International’s All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre. Over the same weekend in November more than 3,800 performances will take place in 1,600 theatres across 36 countries.

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) created this revue for theatres across the globe to use as a local fundraising event performed over the same weekend of November 12, 2021.

MTI’s President and CEO, Drew Cohen said: “MTI’s All Together Now! is about bringing people back to the theatre, whether as audience members or cast, crew and musicians. The revue features songs from the world’s most iconic musicals, so there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy. Our goal with this worldwide event is for organisations to provide hope, inspiration and excitement to their communities through the transformative power of musical theatre.

Performances will take place in Brechin City Hall on Friday, 12 November and Saturday 13 November, 2021 at 7:45pm.
