AUDIENCES will be in for a treat this winter with an evening of classic swing in aid of charity.
The ‘That’s Life’ concert dinner will take place at the Meadowbank Inn on November 23 when Arbroath crooners Alan Mowatt, Doug Ford and Stuart Cargill slip into some sharp suits and entertain with a selection of Rat Pack era classics.
There will also be plenty of laughs from Arbroath comedian Frank Murray, and acting as MC for the evening is Matt Paterson.
The trio hit upon the idea for ‘That’s Life’ after a chance meeting at a recent Rat Pack tribute concert at the Webster Memorial Theatre.
The idea of calling the concert ‘That’s Life’ is not only because it’s the title of one of Frank Sinatra’s most famous songs, but is also a great title for the event considering the beneficiaries are two very worthwhile causes.
The funds raised on the evening from ticket sales and raffle will be shared by Macillan Cancer Support and The British Heart Foundation.
Tickets for the concert at the Meadowbank Inn are priced at £20 and are available from September 20.
Ticket price covers dinner and a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival.
Tickets are available from Alan on 07710427005, Doug on 01241 879383 or Stuart on 07780824156.
