The popular quartet, Rose Room (pictured) are coming to Arbroath for the next jazz event at Hospitalfield House tomorrow, March 21.
The band comprises Tam Gallagher and Tom Watson, both on guitar, Jimmy Moon, bass and the remarkable Seonaid Aitken on violin and vocals coming together to play the gypsy swing jazz associated with Stephane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt.
Alan Steadman who runs the jazz nights said: “I’m delighted that that this very entertaining band is coming back to Hospitalfield.
“They made their debut last year and went down extremely well with the audience. As this is Jazz at Hospitalfield’s 25th anniversary year I’m keen to get as many guest players as I can. When I asked Rose Room who they would like to play with them, they suggested the award-winning young tenor sax player Konrad Wiszniewski and I’m sure he will add an exciting new dimension to the concert.”
Tickets, cost £12 and can be reserved by phoning 01382 774648.
