THE ORGANISERS of Arbroath’s contribution to this year’s Glamis Gathering are appealing for help with the entertainment.
As with last year the Royal Burgh of Arbroath Community Council has taken on the task of putting together a marquee at the Glamis Gathering on the weekend of May 18 and 19.
The marquee will be used to showcase the best and brightest the town has to offer and the organisers are looking for help with providing the entertainment on the Sunday.
The organisers are looking for local dance groups, musicians, choirs, community groups or artists who can take to the stage and show off their talents or perhaps run a hands-on demonstration stall.
On the Saturday there will be live music and on both days the gates will be open from 10 a.m. to early evening. There will be a meeting in the Volunteer Centre, Guthrie Port, on Thursday, April 18, from 7.30 p.m. for anyone interested in taking part in Arbroath’s marquee.
