Frightfest for charity

HALLOWEEN in Arbroath could get get ugly this year, but for a good cause.

Doug Clark, who moved to the town around 18 months ago is hoping to give something back to his new home with a charity gig.

Doug, under the guise of his new music promotion venture ‘What?’, has organised a gruesome gig called ‘Rock the Lifeboat’ at Devitos on Friday, October 26.

The concert in aid of the RNLI will have a zombies v pirates theme and already has several bands signed up to perform including Rufus Hok and ‘The Rag n Bone Man’.

Doug said: “I’ve been doing music promotion and stuff for a few years and I moved to Arbroath about a year and a half ago.

“The lifeboat is something that really matters to Arbroath and it’s a good charity to start with.

“I’m hoping to organise monthly charity events so any charities which want to get involved should contact me on 07927132347.”
