Award winning Rachael Kibbler is opening an exhibition in Arbroath on Saturday displaying works that have yet to be seen outside of her studio.
The solo exhibition, upstairs in Arbroath Library, will be opened officially by Provost Helen Oswald on April 18 at 10.30 a.m. and will run until May 1.
Rachael said: “I will be showing works that have only been seen in my studio in Barry but they haven’t been exhibited elsewhere. Almost all of them were produced within the last year and all framed by my father, a local picture framer.”
Paintings included are local scenes; ‘Arbroath Harbour’, ‘Carnoustie Beach’, ‘The Taybridge’ as well as further afield such as ‘Anstruther Harbour’, ‘Winaway at Pittenweem’ and four seascapes of the Isle of Skye. City scenes called ‘The Scotsman’, ‘Costa Coffee’ and ‘Dundee High Street’ will also be exhibited as well as her work in charcoal.
