Adult library corner

ARBROATH Library has several events running this month.

The annual sale of fiction, non-fiction and audio materials began on Monday and will run until the end of October.

Currently open to the public is the Carnoustie photo group exhibition which will be showing in the upper gallery until Saturday, October 13.

The Angus Council planning officer will be holding two surgeries on October 16 and 30.

Alastair Scott will be giving a travel themed public talk based around George Bullough of Rum at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 19.

Admission is £2.50 and tickets can be collected at the main desk of Arbroath Library or reserved by calling 01241 435605 or emailing arbroath.library@angus.gov.uk.

The next ‘Mind when’ reminiscence session will take place in the upper gallery at Arbroath Library between 2 and 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16.

On Friday, October 26 the Antiquary society will hold it’s next meeting in the upper gallery from 2 to 4 p.m.

The next meeting of Arbroath Library adult reading group will be on Monday , October 29, from 2.30 to 4 p.m. in the meeting room. Anyone who enjoys reading and discussing a variety of literature is welcome along to their informal and friendly meetings.
