Chalmers Filmhouse welcomes Ladyloan pupils

Pupils from Ladyloan Primary School enjoyed a visit to Chalmers Filmhouse to watch Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters.

Pupils from Ladyloan Primary School enjoyed a visit to Chalmers Filmhouse to watch Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters.

Chalmers Filmhouse was awash with a Sea of its own litle monsters following a private screening for Ladyloan Primary School.

Quite apart from being monsters the 40 children who took a school trip to watch Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters at Arbroath’s cinema, were described as an ‘asset to the school’.

“They were very well behaved and polite,” said Ms Copeland, a Chalmers Filmhouse spokesperson.

The Filmhouse in Arbroath openeing in April and as well as the regular Friday and Saturday showings takes private bookings.

Once contacted by the school they were delighted to allow the children to choose a film to fit in with their school project.

“We cater for all age groups and teh children were able to choose a film themselves, so there were coming to see a movie that they wanted,” said Ms Copeland.
