Victory nagainst the ‘Auld Enemy’

IN THE annual Scotland Fire Brigade v England Fire Brigade football game played at Sincil Bank, Lincoln City’s stadium, two Carnoustie firefighters helped Scotland to a 3-2 victory.

Roddy Black, formerly with Brechin City and Arbroath, and who now plays for Cove Rangers, captained the side, and Danny Millar, who plays for Carnoustie Panmure, along with their team-mates, celebrated an excellent win to come back from being 2-0 down.

They both now have to wait to see if they will be picked for the British Fire Brigade team to play in the European Fire Brigade Championships in Romania in June.
