22nd in Strokeplay Championship

CARNOUSTIE Ladies’ Golf Club’s Jessica Meek finished a creditable 22nd in the inaugural Spanish Women’s Amateur International Strokeplay Championship over three rounds at Alicante Golf Club.

With rounds of 73, 77 and 78 for 228, she finished three shots behind fellow Scot, Alyson McKechin, Elderslie, and 16 shots behind winner, South Korean-born Spaniard, Ha Rang Lee, who had scores of 67, 71 and 74 for four under par.
