ARBROATH manager John McGlashan has boosted his squad with the on-loan capture of highly-rated Dunfermline youngster, Scott McBride.
Mr McGlashan explained: "We have verbally agreed a deal to bring Scott McBride to the club on an emergency loan basis until the end of the season.
"The deal should be completed by Friday (today) allowing Scott to be available for tomorrow's game against East Stirlingshire.
He continued: "He is an up and coming and very talented young player who has good pace and will be an asset to the club for the rest of the season.
"He typically plays wide-left but he is equally adept up front, in midfield or as a supporting striker.
"Originally I had planned to sign Scott during the transfer window but we had to wait so that a clause could be inserted in the deal to allow him to return to Dunfermline if they suffer an injury crisis."
The manager confirmed that the Glenrothes-based player will meet up with his team mates for training at least once a week as well as continuing his full-time schedule at Dunfermline.
