Arbroath United are hoping they will continue to show they are a force to be reckoned with this season.

So far they have a 100 per cent record in all games played, although Saturday’s match against Heriots fell victim to the rain.

Tomorrow (Saturday) they go in against Stoneywood Dyce at Lochlands and captain Marc Petrie is urging the players to continue their good run of form.

He told HeraldSport: “Team spirit is really high at the moment and hopefully we can get into the habit of winning.

“We need to keep making statements and showing others that we are the team to beat.

“Everybody expects the capital teams to do well but we want to show teams from small towns can do the same.

“We always have pretty good games against Stoneywood Dyce and all we have to do is stick to our game plan and hopefully win.”
