THE TOP three teams in the Premier Division of Arbroath and District Men’s Darts League - Fishermans (2), Burns Bar (1) and Station (2) - all have a 100 per cent record with two games played.

Abbey, top of Division One, can make the same boast and is being chased by Commercial (L), one point behind.

In Division Two, Bowlers (1) also remain unbeaten and their closest challenger is Pageant which has dropped one point.

Additional signings

All additional signings plus correct fees must be handed to the appropriate committee member before 8 p.m. on a Monday night to allow the new player to play in that evening’s match. Premier Division signings to Steve Green, Burns Bar (1); Division One signings to Bobby Geddes, Ram’s Heid (1); Division Two signings to Bob Russell, West Port Lounge.

Bellrock Open

This year’s Bellrock Open competition will be played on Saturday, November 12, at The Red Lion Holiday Park, Arbroath. Alan Soutar is taking entries for the men’s and women’s events. Entry is £10 for men and £7 for women. There is strictly no entry on the day.

The men’s winner will receive £501 plus a trophy and the women’s winner will receive £150 plus a trophy.

There are already three men in the draw who have played at Lakeside so it’s a great chance for local players to play some of the best players in Scotland and the world.

Finals night

THE ANGUS Trophy Centre Summer Darts League finals night was held in the Cliffburn on Saturday.

A good evening was had by all and congratulations were extended to all who took part.

Mark, Bobby and Sandy have extended thanks to all who attended, the Cliffburn and the main sponsor, The Angus Trophy Centre.

FISHERMANS and Bowlers share top spot in Division One on 10 points, with Pageant (2) snapping at their heels one point behind.

A similar situation exists in Division Two, where Letham Hotel and Railway share top spot, and Lorne are third one point behind, and in Division Three, where Ship and Commercial are joint top with 10 points.
