Title race hots up with only three games left

AS THE season draws to a close for Arbroath and District Men’s Darts League sponsored by Colin M. Smith, and with only three games left there is still a close fight at the top of the Premier Division.

Fishermans (2) are in the lead, but only have a two-point advantage over challengers Burns Bar (1), with Burns Bar (2) in third place.

The two Burns teams face each other on Monday and Fishermans meet Portcullis (1) in what will be an interesting match.

Fishermans (1) head the First Division by six points and disposed of lowly Abbey (2) in some style on Monday.

The battle in this league will be between Ram’s Heid and Abbey (1) for runners-up spot.

In the Second Division, the leaders, Commercial from Letham, recorded a good victory over Station Bar on Monday and title chasers Portcullis (2) easily disposed of bottom dogs Bowlers.
