This autumn, an under-14 boys team has been taking part in a Aegon North of Scotland County League and has been performing well.
At the moment they are unbeaten with victories over Perth, Montrose and Blairgowrie.
There are still two tough matches to go against Kinnoull and Cults but the boys have equipped themselves well. Team has comprised Ben O’Mara, Jacob Dempster, Drew Moir and Josh Crabb – with Jamie Steel making his debut last weekend.
As part of the initiative to raise funds for new courts, the club is now approaching local businesses with a view to them providing some sponsorship.
Sponsorship options available can be anything from windbreak advertising through to supplying the balls for a particular match. Any local businesses interested in supporting the club should contact Graham Crabb on 07703 582129 – or any other member of the committee.
