SPA Super 15s
This year’s Super 15s Premier and First Division events will be held at Haven, Craig Tara, Ayr, over the weekend of November 8, 9 and 10. The Second Division event will be held at Pettycur Bay, Kinghorn, Fife, over the weekend of November 15, 16 and 17.
As yet, the teams do not know where they will be travelling and as such players are asked to make themselves available for both weekends.
Arbroath and District Pool League has to inform the SPA at the July meeting on the number of teams entering. Teams will not be permitted to enter after this date. Again, similar to the Super 11s, players are being asked for a commitment to these events and as such a £20 ‘non-refundable’ deposit is required. If you are subsequently not selected for any of the teams you will get your money refunded. If a player withdraws after being selected then they will lose their deposit.
To that end, the Arbroath League needs to start gathering interest for teams. The interest list will close on Saturday, June 28.
The names will be collated and passed to the selection committee for team selections. Any player interested or those who have questions please contact the match secretary, Michael Bastow on 07921 722033.
