The petition is for the overturning of the resolution passed after vote at the annual general meeting to change the playing format of the Winter League from eight singles and four doubles to six singles and three doubles.
Colin Watt, league and match secretary, is looking for full attendance of everyone who has an opinion on this subject, as there will be a vote held that evening to either overturn the change of format or to accept the proposal and move to six and three.
He stated: “If you are not there to cast your vote or state your case then the vote and decision will take place without your participation.”
