Local bowler Ryan Burnett has been wowing the world down in Oz.
The Arbroathian, who is a member of Carnoustie West End, has been playing in the Junior World Championships at Broadbeach BC in Australia.
He had a disappointing start to the competition, being edged out 21-20 by home favourite.
But bounced back defeating Canada 21-12 and Ireland 21-3.
On the second day, Ryan continued his fine play by winning all three of his games.
He saw off New Zealand 21-14 and Hong Kong 21-11 before parterning Stacey Laidlaw to a 24-7 victory over Canada.
Leading his section, good displays today will see him qualify for the knock-out stages.
