Individual Membership (IM) 2015

It’s that time again when the IM entries are collected. As a reminder if you miss the entry deadline then you will miss out on the entire 2015 series of events.

The 2015 series will see 256 qualifiers for each national final. The top 64 from the rankings will automatically qualify for each of the five events and will not be required to play in local qualifiers. The remaining 192 places will be divided between the areas on a pro-rata basis. Arbroath will have two players within the top 64 - Greg Alexander and Graham Dunbar.

There will be five ranked IM events in 2015 for all fully paid IM members. In addition to these a non-ranked sixth event will be played. Only players who fail to win any prize money during the first five events will be eligible for this. The draw and pro-rata will be carried out by the SPA as soon as possible after IM5.

The entry fee will remain at £30 for each member. This still offers great value for each event. The Arbroath deadline for entries is Sunday, December 7.
