The annual Marti Johnstone and John Cooper Charity Boxing Event was held in Arbroath Community Centre on Friday, June 26.
Local amateurs from all over Angus were happy to get their boxing gloves on and raise monies for their favourite charities.
Over the last few years of the Charity Boxing the fantastic sum of over £140,000 has been raised for worthwhile charities.
The Charity Boxing was originally started by Doug Ford, but he is happy to take a back seat now and enjoy the show.
Seated at Doug’s table was special guest former Olympic boxer Dick McTaggart.
Referee was Mike Holm, while keeping the audience happy between bouts was Compere Eric Buick.
Looking after the boxers in the red corner were John Cooper and George Ferrie, while the blue corner were coached by Marti Johnstone and Gav Hamilton.
The Ring Girls Sam Monaghan, Louise Berrie and Veronica Jahodova wore wild west outfits, and for the second half they donned racy costumes from Ann Summers - Ann Summers sponsored an event.
It was a great evening of boxing entertainment enjoyed by all.
Once all the monies are counted, an official cheque presentation will take place in a few weeks.
