Five players connected to the Angus Darts Academy have been selected to represent Scotland in the coming months.

Alan Soutar, who set up and runs the Angus Darts Academy two years ago, is now seeing the hard work pay off as four of his players have been given the top national honour.

Craig Johnston (15) and Rebecca Graham (12), both Arbroath, will be part of the Scottish Youth team which travels to Halifax, England, today (Friday) to compete in the British Internationals.

Craig and Rebecca will play in International Matches against Wales and England over the weekend.

Alan Soutar will also be part of the senior Scotland side and is earning his 16th and 17th caps for Scotland against Wales and England this weekend.

Craig, Graeme Hamilton (16) and Danny Willox (20) have also been called up to play for a Scottish Select team.

They will be part of the squad which will travel to Londonderry, Northern Ireland, in May this year to compete in the annual Friendship Cup which will be played between the hosts, Republic of Ireland and England.

This is a huge honour for all five players.
