Local anglers enjoy Carlogie

THIS week at Carlogie Dam Jim Tait, from Forfar, caught 15, returned 10 and kept five weighing 12lbs on lures. Then on his second visit he caught 15, returned 10 and kept five weighing 12lbs on lures.

Mike Johnston, Arbroath, caught four, returned two and kept two weighing 11lbs 8ozs on lures, his best a rainbow of 7lbs. T. McCabe, from Dundee, caught and kept two weighing 4lbs 8ozs on a green and white fritz. J. Donachie, also Dundee, caught and kept three weighing 5lbs 8ozs on buzzers, while B. Garthney, Dundee, caught six, returned three and kept three weighing 6lbs on buzzers.

S. Gibson, from Falkland, caught 14, returned 12 and kept two weighing 4lbs on lures and buzzers. H. Lamond, Coupar Angus, caught five, returned three and kept two weighing 4lbs 8ozs on lures. C Hughes, also Coupar Angus, caught and kept one weighing 3lbs on a lure. Steve Clark, from Arbroath, caught and kept five weighing 11lbs on a bunny leach.

Mike Black, Carnoustie, caught and kept two weighing 10lbs on lures, his best a rainbow of 8lbs. Raymond Ferguson, from Forfar, caught nine, returned seven and kept two weighing 4lbs on lures. T. Nairn, Kirriemuir, caught 12, returned 10 and kept two weighing 4lbs.
