The fish have been hard to get over the past couple of weeks up at Lintrathen Loch.
There have been a fair few anglers out, but only catches of one and two fish each have been recorded, even from the Lintrathen ‘specialists’. There have been quite a lot of Perch fry shoals moving around the loch edges and these seem to be tempting the fish rather than the artificial fly.
Lintrathen committee members have been out recently netting the perch and will continue this at the beginning of next season.
As the Loch closes today (Friday), the boats and pontoon will come out tomorrow (Saturday). Any member who can spare a few hours, should come up at 9 a.m.
