Men’s First Team

Arbroath started the second half of the season with a home fixture against 2nd Kinnoull. They were hoping to go one better than their draw in the opening match of the season. Alan Green was unavailable so Arbroath lined up with Graham Crabb/Liam Curry, Kevin Small/Ronnie Edwards and David Wood/Sam Keillor. This turned out to be a resounding victory for the home side – with the opponents unable to win a set.

Ladies’ 2nd Team

The second ladies team travelled to Perth on Monday still looking for the first win of their Third Division campaign. A win here would give the ladies some hope of staying in the division. Unfortunately, though, it was not to be. The Perth ladies proved to be too strong and ran out comfortable winners by 6.5 points to 2.5. This means the ladies will have to win most of their remaining fixtures if they are to remain in the Third division for another season.
