Play in the Clubsport Indoor Sixes Cricket League at the Mayfield Sports Centre, Dundee, resumed last Wednesday after the festive break.

Arbroath won both their matches on the night and are now in outright second place behind early pace-setters Forfarshire, who are the only team with a 100 per cent record.

One of the top performances for the ‘Lichties’ came from young Ryan Cameron, who bowled a perfect maiden over of eight dot balls to help his side defeat Kinloch.

At the other end of the table, Dundee High School FP chalked up their first victory of this season’s competition and climbed out of basement position to be replaced by Glenrothes.

Results: week five - Arbroath 132, Glenrothes 42; Kinloch 115, Dundee High School FP 86; Kinloch 36, Arbroath 53; Glenrothes 20, Dundee High School FP 140.
