Lintrathen Loch

It has been a strange few days for the anglers up at Lintrathen Loch with the recorded water temperature being at its highest for a number of years.

The water level has been taken down by a good six feet by Scottish Water due to public requirements.

The anglers have been having mixed fortunes, with some regulars only taking the odd fish some days and on other days getting limit catches.

Club results were: Balgay A.C. - three boats, 17 fish for 29lbs 8ozs; Broughty Ferry A.C. - two boats, four for 7lbs 12ozs; and Dunkeld & Birnam - four boats, 12 for 24lbs 4ozs.

Individual boats: Jim Galloway and Tom Melville - nine fish for 14lbs 12ozs; Mr Fordyce and party - two boats, nine for 15lbs 8ozs; Ian Strachan - three for 6lbs; G. Watson - five for 10 lbs 4ozs; Moira Ferrier and Jim Galloway - 10 for 19lbs; Mr Henderson and guest - five for 9lbs; Jim Stanger and Jim Moncur - five for 10lbs.
