Athletes in fine form at Scottish Schools

EIGHT Arbroath and District athletes were in action at the Scottish Schools’ Track and Field Championships in Grangemouth.

Many new personal bests were set and the athletes came home with a variety of medals.

Performances recorded by Ellen Robertson (triple-jump), Callum Edwards (400m hurdles) and Damien Murray (javelin and discus) saw them gain selection to the Scottish team for the schools’ international against England, Ireland and Wales in Cardiff on July 16.
