Haydn Hill faced Joe Kelly in the bantamweight final and what a contest these two talented boxers dished up.
Kelly is a come forward hooking boxer and Hill used his style against him, catching Kelly with stiff straight punches as he came forward.
Kelly regrouped and worked his way inside landing with some good shots to head and body.
In the second Hill stood off a bit more to give himself room to counter the aggressive Kelly, landing with quality firm shots.
Kelly absorbed the shots and still came forward hooking and uppercutting his way inside. Into the third round this top class contest raged.
Both these boxers wanted that title and it showed in the determination and effort they brought to the final two minutes.
The final bell brought a tense wait as the judges scores were collated but Joe Kelly was awarded the title of Scottish Intermediate Bantamweight Champion over a disappointed Haydn Hill.
Lewis Keith became the Scottish Intermediate Welterweight Champion by walk-over, when his opponent Alexander Hutchison decided to pull out of the competition.
