FISHERMANS (2) darts player Alan Soutar will be part of the 13-man Scotland squad that will travel down to Blackpool in April to take on Wales and the ‘Auld Enemy’ England in the British International Championships.

After playing in the BDO World Championships at Lakeside in January Alan has achieved another massive ambition by being selected for the international team.

Alan will follow in the footsteps of Arbroath players Geordie Nicoll, Angus Cossans, Peter Anderson and Bob Dall when he pulls on the navy blue shirt of Scotland to earn his first cap.

The Home Nations event will be played at Marine Hall, Beach Promenade, Fleetwood, on Saturday and Sunday, April 9 and 10.
