ALAN Lillico hit five 180s in one night on Monday. This takes his personal tally to 14 maximums in 12 weeks and 124 in total by all players.

Masters Finals Day

The finals of the Arbroath Masters will be played in Coast Nightclub on Saturday, September 17, from 2 p.m. Players should register with Total Darts Promotions by 1.30 p.m.

Spectators are welcome to attend free of charge on the day.

Scottish doubles

The Angus qualifiers for the Scottish doubles will be played on Saturday, September 10, at The Red Lion Holiday Park. Registration is from 10 to 10.30 a.m., toe the oche at 11 a.m.

Names should be given to Alan Soutar on 07967218790 by September 9. Entry is £10 per double and Angus will have four men’s and two women’s doubles through to the Scottish finals at Bannockburn.

Fishies Open

The Fishies Open will take place on Saturday, September 24, in the Fishermans Lounge. Entry is £5 on the day and the competition is open to men and women (mixed draw)

Registration until 12.30 p.m. and toe the oche at 1 p.m. There will be a £400 prize pot on the day plus a free buffet.

Super League victory

Arbroath ‘A’ won the Angus Men’s Super League with an 8-4 win over nearest rivals Montrose. Alan Soutar was man of the match with a 3-0 win over Ricky Keith with a 34.95 per dart average.

Arbroath ‘B’ secured their first point in a 6-6 draw in Forfar. Man of the Match was Craig Paterson who won 3-0 against Scott Fairweather with a 23.86 per dart average.
