Arbroath’s Young Player of the Year, Michael Travis was pleased with his performance but disappointed at the outcome of Saturday’s match against Dunfermline Athletic.
He said: “I think we deserved a win in the end. We get there, they’ve not had any chances, we switch off for two minutes and we get beaten.
“It sums up our season basically.”
Travis was on fine form on Saturday and had hoped for more.
“I think I should have scored in the first half.
“We’ve been working at corners at training and for one to work out just shows you.”
The pressure is on for everyone next week and the players have to shake their disappointment.
Travis said: “The boys were gutted after the result but a few words from the gaffer and we’re ready to go for next week.”
