Arbroath FC held one of their most successful open days to date on Saturday when around 50 children descended on Gayfield.
The annual event saw the youngsters put through their paces by the club’s youth coaches on the Low Common on Saturday morning.
And after the training session the children then made their way over to Gayfield where they got the opportunity to have a kick about with some of the first team players and collect autographs.
Refreshments and snacks were also provided for the young Lichties courtesy of Macdonalds and Greggs.
Not only were the club delighted with the huge turnout of youngsters they were also pleased with the sales of season tickets which were also available on Saturday morning.
Club director Malcolm Fairweather said: “Season tickets have been selling well, especially for kids and concessions.
“We’ve probably sold more than at the same point last year.”
Tickets are still available on weekday mornings from the Gayfield office from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
They are also on sale before home matches, with tickets covering admission for all home league games as well as the League Cup clash against Montrose on August 3 and any other subsequent home cup ties.
