Vics can’t afford to slip up

AFTER having to sit Saturday out due to a free week, Arbroath Vics return to action tomorrow (Saturday) with a league fixture away to Coupar Angus.

Despite the Perthshire club sitting at the foot of the table, they beat Vics 3-2 at Ogilvy Park earlier in the season, and if Vics hope to keep their promotion hopes alive, they can’t afford another slip-up.

Kick-off is at 2.15 p.m. and players should meet at Ogilvy Park at 12.15 p.m.

The top of the league is even closer after Saturday’s results with Downfield moving into third, a point behind Montrose Roselea and Vics after their 5-0 win against Coupar Angus. Dundee North End remain on 22 points going down 3-2 away to Dundee Violet, which sees them join Blairgowrie on 21 points after their 5-1 win at Brechin Vics. ASC were held 1-1 at East Craigie, taking them to 20 points.
