Coerver® Coaching, the World’s number one football skills teaching method, kicked off their biggest ever national summer programme with a two-day event Arbroath.
Fifty players, aged between 7 and 14-years-old, from around 10 different local clubs joined the camp at Ogilvy Park to take part in the event that formed part of Coerver’s® 30th anniversary celebrations.
Players had the opportunity to take part in sessions aimed at improving their skills, speed and game sense.
The young players were put through their paces with drills and games taken from the renowned training plan, the “Pyramid of Player Development”, which is designed to develop skilsl and to create game changing players.
The children also had the chance to take part in finishing challenges and small sided games.
Regional Head Coach for Coerver® Coaching, James Brash, said: “We are delighted to have had the opportunity to work with so many players from a number of local clubs. Their hard work and efforts were fantastic and we hope they all took something away from the event whilst having fun.
“We would also like to thank our hosts, Arbroath Lads Club and Arbroath Victoria, for providing such a fantastic venue for the occasion. This is a big year for the Coerver® programme around the world and we are delighted to be able to share in the celebrations with players, coaches and parents.”
