Stepping up to the spot on Saturday to even the score was Motherwell loan striker Lee Erwin.
Lee brought his side level with East Fife, after Methil man Garry Thom brought him down in the box for a penalty in the dying minutes.
HeraldSport caught up with him after the game and asked him about the moment he salvaged a point for the Lichties. He said: “We were 2-1 down with 10 minutes to go and I had to slot it in and try and get us back into the game. There was a lot of pressure.”
But despite that, Lee was still unhappy with the result. He said: “We should have won. I missed a chance in the last minute, I should have put it away but there were three great stops for the goalkeeper. So I’m quite disappointed.”
