ARBROATH High School FPs hammered Harris FP 9-2 in the Tay Valley Shield on Saturday at Friockheim.
Despite going a goal down after two minutes, the FPs kicked on and were 4-1 up at half-time, and overran their opponents for a very convincing win.
Mowatt scored four goals to take his tally to 16 in six games which is a tremendous feat for him and the team. The other goals came from from Low (2), Fenwick, Barber and a class finish from youngster Eaton to seal their final berth.
The FPs’ Alliance ‘A’ team was beaten 2-1 away from home, with Kyle Lyons scoring and the FPs left to rue a missed penalty and failing to convert numerous chances.
