After a week’s break for the singles, the league fixtures return on Tuesday.

Division One

Fixtures: Cliffburn 1 v Letham 1; Newgate 1 v Railway 2; Portcullis 1 v Burns Bar; Portcullis 2 v Ram’s Heid 1; Railway 1 v Newgate 2; Shotz 2 v Merchants; Shotz 1, bye.

Division Two

Fixtures: Bowlers 1 v Stag; Legion 1 v Bowlers 2; Shotz 3 v Cliffburn 2; St Tams v Portcullis 3; Station v Legion 2; Westport 1 v Fishermans; Letham 2, bye.

Usual 8pm sign-in time. Home team captain to ‘phone or text the score to the match secretary upon completion of the match.

Knock-out Cup

The Knock-out Cup Last 16 will be played on Wednesday (February 4).

This is a straight draw from this point onwards: match one - Shotz (3) v Bowlers (2); match two - Bowlers (1) v Cliffburn (1); match three - West Port (1) v Legion (1); match four - Newgate (2) v Station; match five - Letham (1) v Portcullis (3); match six - Portcullis (2) v Portcullis (1); match seven - Shotz (2) v Shotz (1); match eight - Railway (1) v Newgate (1).

The format, as with all cup matches, will be nine singles and four doubles. Usual sign-in time of 8 p.m.

The losing teams in this round shall enter the Consolation Cup. Captains please note, failure to honour Knock-out Cup fixtures will result in your team being excluded from the Consolation Cup.

These ties will be played out on Tuesday, February 10, with a strict sign-in time of 8 p.m. Controllers are to ‘phone/text the scores to the match secretary upon conclusion of the ties.

There will be two matches at each venue that have four pairs. Where there are five pairs at a venue a prelim tie is required. Each venue will provide two qualifiers. All matches are best of five frames. Lag the first frame and alternative break from then onwards. Referees to be in place for all matches, upon completion of the first match it will be the winners who will referee the following match.
