MIDFIELDER Josh Falkingham has finally signed on for Dunfermline Athletic but says his time at Arbroath FC will never be forgotten.

The 21 year-old played a huge part in the Lichties’ success of the past two seasons and had attracted interest from several full-time clubs.

On Wednesday, Arbroath manager Paul Sheerin revealed that the club had come to an agreement with the Pars for a compensation package for the midfielder, which is required as Falkingham is under the age of 23.

And today (Monday) Josh announced via Twitter that he had finally put pen to paper at East End Park, but sent his best regards to the Gayfield men.

He tweeted: “Absolutely delighted to have signed for DAFC... massive club and hopefully I can help get back into the SPL where the club belongs...

“Also a massive thank you to Arbroath FC to the staff and fans who have been great to me... 2 brilliant seasons and will never be forgotten.

“Helped me get to where I am today!!”

In his two seasons at the club Falkingham made 72 appearances, scoring 17 goals.
