Arbroath stormed back to the top of the table in some style after a 5-2 win over 10-man Clyde at Broadwood.
Paul McManus gave the Lichties the perfect start, opening the scoring midway through the first period.
And things got even better for Allan Moore’s men when Brian McQueen was sent off soon after. But Clyde got themselves level when Scott Ferguson netted 10 minutes before the break.
The Gayfield men were soon ahead again through Scott McBride and looked to be on easy street. Yet, again, the 10 men Bully Wee battled back and Ferguson grabbed his second goal of the game.
But then loan star Dylan Carreiro took the game by the scruff of the neck and bagged a quickfire brace in 69 and 78 minutes, Simon Murray added a fifth two minutes later to round off a fine day for the men in maroon.
With Albion Rovers held 1-1 at Berwick, the Lichties are now two points clear again at the top of SPFL League Two.
