Gayfield has been named the best ground in the Second Division by a blogger who has visited every single league stadium in Scotland.
Duncan MacKay started the weblog at the beginning of last season, writing up a review of his experiences of visiting each club.
And in his review of his travels, he rated Gayfield as the best place to watch football in the Second Division after taking in the derby against Forfar in January earlier this year.
His blog reads: “We found a beautiful wee ground – noisy fans, covered terraces and a wonderful local derby. Standing on the north east corner of the ground, where you can watch the waves crash against the land as well as a football game is pretty special.”
