Arbroath manager Paul Sheerin has made another summer signing adding Airdrie youngster Alan Cook to his squad.
The 21-year-old left winger becomes the latest player to sign on for the campaign and the boss was delighted to capture his signature.
He told HeraldSport: “We has hoped to sign him last season but he went to Airdrie.
“But we’ve managed to get him for this season and both myself and Stewart [Petrie] have been impressed when we have watched him.
“He is a really good age and hopefully he will give us a bit of pace, that we have been lacking and gives us a few more options.
“We have quite a few on board now and it makes a differences from last year when we were chasing bodies.
“And now hopefully we can get a few more in and build on that.”
