Arbroath Vics continued their build up to the new campaign with another two friendlies in the past week.
The first of those was at home to Premier Division side Forfar West End, which the Strathmore Park side won 1-0 thanks to an eighth minute goal from star man Matty Reynolds.
On Saturday, Super League side Carnoustie Panmure were the visitors and they ran out 3-0 winners.
The first half ended goalless, but Carnoustie stepped up a gear after the break and goals from Patrick Smith (60 mins), Gordon MacDonald (62mins) and Sam Simpson (67 mins) was enough to give them the win.
Despite losing, both matches gave manager Derek Lawson the chance to give a run out to trialists and some of his new signings.
Vics continue their programme of friendlies on Saturday with a match against North Region Super League side, Culter.
The game on Saturday afternoon has the usual kick-off time of 2.30pm.
