Could the Lichties’ top goalscorer from last season be making his way back to Gayfield for a loan spell?
It had been rumoured that Steven Doris, who made the move to Dundee in the summer could come back to Arbroath on loan.
And Arbroath manager Paul Sheerin confirmed that talks have been ongoing with Dundee to let the 25-year-old out on loan.
The Lichties are looking for more attacking options after Steven Milne retired from professional football and Lee Erwin, who has scored nine in 11 games was recalled by Motherwell.
The boss had hoped that 19-year-old Erwin would be available to return for the Gayfield men in January.
But the striker picked up a nasty injury playing for Motherwell under-20s at the weekend, which looks to have ended his season.
Remember to pick up your Arbroath Herald tomorrow (Saturday) for the full interview with the manager.
