IT SEEMS last season’s top scorer Steven Doris will be back on board for the Lichties next season after signing a new deal.
The front man who netted 21 goals last season was said to have generated interest from a number of full-time clubs.
But manager Paul Sheerin announced on Twitter this morning (Wednesday) that the 23 year-old put pen to paper on Sunday before jetting off on holiday.
However, it is also rumoured the Lichties are close to agreeing a compensation package with Dunfermline for midfielder Josh Falkingham.
The former Leeds United man, has been on the radar of the Pars for some weeks now with compensation between the two clubs proving the only stumbling block.
As Falkingham is under the age of 23, Dunfermline are required to pay compensation to Arbroath if he decides to sign.
