THE FINAL event within the Castles Cross Country series took place at Balgownie at the weekend. Series silver medals were brought home by Ellen Robertson and Lewis Morrison. ADAC results:

The club’s Cross Country Championships will take place at Crombie Park on Saturday, March 9. Athletes should arrive at the venue by 9.15 a.m. Annual registration will also take place on the day and there will be soup and hot dogs on sale at the venue. Parent helpers will be required to ensure the event can go ahead.
LAST weekend the Ladies representing the Arbroath Indoor Bowling Club in the National Fours play-downs at Buchan Indoor had success in their matches against Elgin, Turriff and Garioch to progress to the semi-final stages at Fraserburgh at the end of March.
This weekend is a busy one for the ladies and the gents with the ladies playing near neighbours Dundee at Forfar, while the gents play East Kilbride at Falkirk in their Scottish Cup games on Saturday. The gents travel to Headwell on Sunday to play Alloa in a promotion play-off.
