With the weather taking it Monifieth Tayside suffered a heavy defeat in the Drain Doctor Division One, but in the Wallace Trophy a hat-trick from Rikki McWilliams, two goals from Mark Watts and one apiece from Matthew Ferrie and Colin Finlay secured Barnhill’s second win in the competition.

Dundee and District Association

It was a good weekend for Monifieth with their Under-15s winning in the Jean Pierre Babin Cup and the Under-14s, Under-16s, Under-17s and Under-19s all winning in the league.

Broughty United Under-17s won in their Peter McAvoy Cup tie, but their Under-15s lost out in the Jean Pierre Babin Cup after extra-time.
