LOCAL golfer Scott Graham, representing Arbroath Artisan Golf Club, won the Angus County Champion of Champions tournament held on Sunday at Arbroath Golf Course with a scratch score of 67. He was two shots ahead of Mo Lindsay, representing the Broughty Golf Club, Monifieth.
This event was rearranged after the original date had to be abandoned due to severe winds which made the course unplayable.
Scott had qualified for the tournament after winning the Arbroath Golf Course Links Championship last year. All Club Champions, Links Champions and County Championship winners then compete to see who is the overall champion.
ALTHOUGH the fish are not showing quite so much at Rescobie Loch, they are still well up in the water and most anglers are still relying on floaters or sink tips but the retrieve has to be dead slow. Condor area is still a favourite but fish are being taken from all over, where the weed allows, that is. Bank fishing from the Greenbank has been very productive.
