BOXING CLUB STRIKES GOLD
PHRAYA Pichai Thai Boxing Club, Arbroath, has successfully become the first Angus club to go through the updated Angus Club Excellent (ACE) re-accreditation.
The club, which has been a member of ACE since 2005, has also now completed its gold award, progressing from the silver award which it has held for four years.
This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of the club volunteers and demonstrates that they are committed to providing a safe, effective and child-friendly environment.
Sports development officer Lee McLean said: "I am delighted that Phraya Pichai Thai Boxing Club has achieved their gold award. I am also delighted that they have become the first club to go through our updated re-accreditation process.
"Phraya Pichai Thai Boxing Club having the ACE gold award allows parents to know that it is a safe quality club which complies with all the legislation to ensure the safety and well-being of its members."
